Celebrating the creation of a new Jewish family in Moldova!
The hearts of our community are overflowing with joy today! An incredibly beautiful and touching wedding ceremony took place at the Agudath Israel Synagogue in Moldova. The remarkable couple Ze’ev and Ori were united in their destinies.
The event was given a special spiritual significance by Rabbi Shimon Bruk, who traveled from Jerusalem specifically to conduct the ceremony in strict accordance with Jewish tradition. To the sounds of traditional melodies and surrounded by loved ones, the Chuppah, a symbol of their future shared home, was raised over the newlyweds.
✨ A Jewish wedding is more than just a celebration; it is an event of cosmic proportions.
The Talmud says: “He who is unmarried lives without joy, without blessing, and without goodness” (Tractate Yevamot 62b).
The creation of a new family is the restoration of the integrity of the soul and the foundation for the future of the entire Jewish people. As our sages say, at the moment of Chuppah, the gates of heaven open above the couple, and the Almighty dwells among them.
🕊 From the Chief Rabbi of Moldova, Rabbi Pinchas Zaltzman, and Agudat Israel of Moldova, we wish Ze’ev and Ori that their home will be “Binyan Adei Ad”—an eternal structure filled with the light of Torah, warmth, and endless love. May each of your days be illuminated by the same joy we felt today!
Mazal Tov! Until 120!
